Re: Suggestion Takenoko

Yes, I find it disconcerting to not know the number of remaining Objective cards. A pile often runs out, and it is a crucial piece of information. I think the Objective card icon should show all 3 Objective card piles, and the number remaining underneath. And after you select it as your action--to h...

Re: Best way to learn Dominion?

If you just read the abbreviated rules on BGA, definitely download the full rules PDF to get more familiar with things. It includes play examples and fuller explanations of the action cards. You could also observe a couple games in progress until the interface becomes familiar. But if you want to ju...

Re: Category 5 quits BGA / 6 qui prend disparait de BGA

it was very cool of them to let you leave it on here while they decided. I won't be going to BSW - it is not a user friendly site IMHO - and this site is very user friendly. So I would agree it makes no sense to try and get people from here to go over there - but I totally understand where they are...

Re: Stats for 2 players games

I think that would work great with 2 players games, cause before starting, you would know how many times you've played with X player, how many times he'd beaten you, and viceversa. I think that will encourage pple to play more in order to beat the others, and it will also encourage healthy competit...

Re: General UI: green nickname is too green

I second that! The near neon color is too harsh and not very readable. With more players, the yellow is also a poor choice. Any color that requires a gray background in order to be readable is not a good pick.

Re: Option to restart game with same players

It will be nice, if there was an option to start a rematch at the end of a game. Currently we need to get back out, create a new table and have the players rejoin the game. This comes up frequently especially in a game like Can't Stop, but I imagine it will be useful in all the games. I agree. But ...

Re: iPad Slowdown

I Play on my ipad2 perfectly. Slow bat ok. Did your opponents feel the same way? I've played several games against iPad owners and in every case they were tortuously slow. However, Dominion games against Xoom and HP TouchPad owners were only slightly sluggish. I expect the iPad 2 performs so poorly...

Re: Problem with thumbing down jerks

If you fear retaliation, you could always leave player feedback at a later time. Simply revisit the page for the game in your play history and rate him later. If he's played several games since and then signed off, it's unlikely that he'd connect the dots.

Re: Chinese translation: traditional or simplified or both?

As I understand, there is at least 3 different Chinese languages: _ Simplified Chinese (China) _ Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) _ Traditional Chinese (Hong-Kong) Question to all Chinese translators: should I have 1, 2 or 3 languages pack for BGA? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6f/Map...

Re: Chinese translation: traditional or simplified or both?

I brought up the Traditional/Simplified Chinese, but I don't even know for sure if it will really be an issue. I'm not an expert on the Chinese language either, especially in terms of character encodings. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in. I think written Chinese is mostly mutually int...
