Re: Fixing Validated Translations

Post by Eisinas »

Hi,
game Through the Ages, validated Lithuanian translation row ${card_name}: ${actplayer} may bid units to sacrifice for the new Territory (translated as ${card_name}: ${actplayer} gali paaukoti karinius vienetus naujos Teritorijos kolonializacijai) Need to change the last word kolonializacijai to kolonizacijai.
In addition, row ${card_name}: ${actplayer} may 1 build additional stage of a Wonder in the same action (translated as ${card_name}: ${actplayer} ebuklo etapą, neišnaudodamas naujo veiksmo.) need to be corrected to this one ${card_name}: ${actplayer} gali papildomai statyti 1 Stebuklo etapą, neišnaudodamas naujo veiksmo.
Thank you in advance :)

Hello,

in Stone Age Slovak is Food stock translated like Zásoba dreva (wood), but correct is Zásoba jedla.

In targi, in this card:
'In each round that you gain 1 or more dates through Goods cards - not Border cards -, gain 1 additional date.'
in spanish translation says:
'En cada ronda en la que ganes 1 o más dátiles a partir de cartas de Mercancía - no cartas del borde -, ganas 1 sal adicional.'
wich is confusing because means you gain 1 salt. it instead should say:
'En cada ronda en la que ganes 1 o más dátiles a partir de cartas de Mercancía - no cartas del borde -, ganas 1 dátil adicional.'

Hi again,
Through the ages, Lithuanian strings 'Civilization A gets' and 'Civilization B gets' need to be corrected to 'A civilizacija gauna' and 'B civilizacija gauna'. Now it sounds like 'Civils gets A/B'. Thanks

Fixed! Also updated your account so that you can fix validated strings, in case you find some more mistakes ;)

The Takenoko English wording are sexist, always referring to the player as 'he'. Is it possible to update this to 'they'?

Hi,
There is a discussion about gendered pronouns in English here: http://forum.boardgamearena.com/viewtop ... =11&t=3934
Feel free to contribute to the discussion, as of now all participants in the thread are either male or "undeclared", so it could probably use some more input... even if of course on the internet everyone is not necessarily as advertised :D

Hi,
in italian in the upper tollbar "Disconnect" is translated in "Disconnesso" but the right translation is "Disconnetti".
