moving can be good for completing goals.
The key word here is "may"
In some situations, it can be beneficial to get closer to your attacker:
-To make an extra move.
-In Deryn's case it MAY be placed in a trap hex
In general, Deryn is not a melee character, he needs to move away to attack.
Therefore in most situations, the effect will be detrimental:
If Deryn IS ALREADY IN A TRAP HEX
If Deryn IS ALREADY FAR FROM THE ATTACKER which makes it difficult for melee attackers to inflict 2 or more wounds on her.
If the card is used by ANOTHER CHARACTER and then she becomes a target of attacks.
So the point is: Does this defensive card in MOST SITUATIONS hurt or help Deryn?
As for the benefit of "moving". It should allow Deryn to move, BUT NOT MANDATORY TOGETHER WITH HIS ATTACKER, but allow him to move 2 or 3 hexes, or jump. Notice how beneficial it would be for Deryn to JUMP AWAY FROM AN ENEMY THAT IS ATTACKING HER FROM A HEX NEXT TO HER.
