Why do I have to wait?!

Why do I have to wait to pick my next number until the other players all see the results of the round? No other game does this. I should be able to pick my next numbers as soon as I have seen the results of the last round and those just not be shared with the other players until all have picked their numbers. Am I missing some trigger here other than just observing the results of the round?

Agree with this. It does not make a lot of sense for turn based games. Only delays the game unnecessarily.
I can see the reason for a live game, but I rarely play those.
