Hi Strands Players, we've just made an adjustment to the randomized hexhex6 board.
Specifically, we changed the outermost ring to an equal number of 4's and 5's, as opposed to an equal number of 4's, 5's, and 6's. The idea is to give the ring more "wraparound power", so as to make it more valuable to play on earlier in the game. As players have improved, our understanding of what the board needs to look like for high level play has also improved.
If it turns out this is an overcorrection, we'll change it again, but maybe in a different way (for example by putting some 4's into the all-3 ring to reduce the wraparound power there.
