Re: Permissibility of Using Multiple Accounts

There is this section too: VIII. Fair Play BGA will not tolerate any cheating and/or lack of fair play, whether through the use of cheating software, analysis of communication protocols or code, use of multiple Accounts , collusion with other Users, leaving the game before its normal end, use of ga...

Re: BGAs random number generator is unrealistic.

RNG only mimics randomness while actually being a predetermined function that tries to give random results. Dice rolls and good shuffle are closer to random then shuffle and dice rolls. Dice rolls and card shuffles only mimic randomness too, they're deterministic processes (as far as our current un...

Of course, card shuffles and dice rolls in real life are not random, they are determined by basic physics and human inefficiency.

Re: I am so annoyed by this 3 points robber thing

It’s completely wrong to target someone just because they want to play by the rules as written. The rules allow targeting anyone for whatever reason. It may not be good etiquette or sportsmanship, but it's not against the rules either. You can choose to target the first player that writes in the ch...

Re: Permissibility of Using Multiple Accounts

Are there any legitimate reasons to create 2 different accounts? 1. To create tutorials, where you can control all players and make the "best" moves for the tutorial, not necessarily the best moves to win the game. 2. As "guest" accounts, so you can play with occasional friends ...

And what you describe, even if there are no mistakes or misunderstandings, is clearly not impossible. Rolling a 42 or a 7.5, that's impossible :D

Re: Can I clean up my games history?

Again, only wanting to delete unranked solo games, since they don’t affect my stats against other players. I don't say anything about your particular case, just that it makes sense that the option to remove games from history doesn't exist. TBH, I find this whole reputation mechanic kinda pointless...

Re: Can I clean up my games history?

If you could selectively remove games from your history, it would lend itself to an even more skewed view of any player's activity. So I expect and hope there is no way to do it.

Not "every time". In 2 of your 12 games you were Van Helsing: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=455713505, https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=462316548 You had a streak of 8 consecutive games as Dracula. The probability of 8 consecutive games as the same character, if chosen rando...

Re: How are the game forums sorted?

They're obviously applying some post-processing to the forum pages and wrapping them in an "iframe" in order to add the BGA topbar and hide the games you haven't played. That's why there's the "jump" when the page finishes loading (https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=50529) and why...
