Aha, thanks! I've been fiddling with clicking at the edge of the tiles to be able to read them.
I suggest labeling the button "Expand reserve" or "Show all reserve tiles" or something like that. The arrow that's used looks very similar to full screen icons.

Agree. The first time I played, two players mistakenly built an unfinished track and discovered too late.
