Re: No one plays this?

Would a group help? If you think it would, create one. The problem is I believe not in the lack of players interested, but the lack of players having it in My Games at the same time (especially when it comes to the real-time games). And different expectations, for instance I prefer it for 2players r...

Re: About the victory medals bug in Hanabi

The main reason of this "bug" is the fact that - Hanabi is the only one fully coop game on BGA. And "win X games" is counted for games that were won... not the ones that were tied, like most of the "won" games in Hanabi. Only when a player left the table or is expelled ...

Re: Signorie

I had a situation during the turnbased game I am not sure what to think about. It's about the rules, basically [or a bug?]. I can't find anywhere a non-variant rule saying that you can add a meeple to a full city - and yet it looked like the game offered me a possibility to do so. Maybe it would pop...

Re: Irrigations

@Jest But there are 5 objectives of this kind (and so it is written on the list of Objective Cards here on BGA). Specially for you I checked also my own copy of the game - I have exactly 5 cards like that too. ;) Maybe your box is incomplete or in the older/newer editions there is less? I don't know...

Re: Hanabi : A beginner's guide to conventions and strategies

R4, R1, R2, R3, B5 (from oldest to newest; the R4 here is on chop) Oh, so the leftmost is the oldest one here? I guess that is the part I misunderstood the example. ;) (It's hard imagining that kind of situation - in my way it most likely would be clued far earlier, but let's say I see the point. I...

Re: Hanabi : A beginner's guide to conventions and strategies

@Zamiel As for Cluing Safe Discards and Double Discarding - let's agree to disagree ;) In my experience ambiguity you mentioned is usually contradicted by the flow of the game - who clues and how, when they clue and when they don't, what do they play. In most games it is easy to distinguish between ...

Re: Hanabi : A beginner's guide to conventions and strategies

@Zamiel, Hello, I've been reading your Hanabi Strategies document and I admit it's pretty well done. I like the way you name some strategies, I would never figure to call these things "Sarcastic Discard", "Gentleman's Discard" etc. xD I don't agree on some strategies (as too far-...

Cancel game start and Start again (with or without not-accepting guy)?

Re: 'Casual' or 'Competitive' Option

"Competitive" may be not the best word for cooperative game. ;) As for what it is now on the site and can help a bit - there is a possibility of adding description for a table, I encountered "chill of gtfo" and similar ones in Hanabi tables. Also Karma can be used as first indica...

Re: No options changes after players joined

Please, Liallan, re-read my post too then. ;) Though if you both are turn-based only players - then maybe our misunderstanding lies in this difference. When you are around the table in the moment of starting the game (from the moment of joining to the moment of start = clicking to accept) you see th...
