Board Game Arena

Has anyone successfully played this version? If so, what tips would you give players?

Loving this so far. It's hard, but very rewarding. Looking forward to trying out the scenarios as they are added. This is a game I shall be buying a hard copy of as soon as it is released.

As far as I know there are at least two extensions being alpha tested at the moment. One of them is very buggy still.

Over the past week I've come across several people who have created an account, started a game, and then just not played, leaving other players hanging. The accounts are labelled as coming from China, Hong kong or Taiwan.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I think Indigo by Reiner Knizia would work great on this site - a shame that it (presumably) didn’t sell very well (given it’s now out of print) Excellent suggestion. It reminds me of a game with similar tiles (but no gems) from many years ago, the name of which I cannot for the life of me remember...

You might also find it useful to add some friends in your timezone or thereabouts, and launch games with friends, either in real time or turn-based. If you complete your profile, you'll probably get more reciprocal adds.
