The most recent update is that Tom Lehmann doesn't know when it will be done because the developer is very busy with their regular job.

There has been an update from the designer.

The game is "aiming for a late October 2024 release in all markets". In mid-April, he will be meeting the publisher and discuss when PI will come to BGA.

The designer answers the question of, "will Perlae Imperii come to BGA?" in this BGG thread . He says it'll happen "eventually", but "likely to be at least a year from [March 30, 2022]" because they're exploring possibilities for a 3rd expansion and want the BGA releas...

The English publisher probably won't localize the Grozilla expansion. Would it be possible to put it on BGA so that more people can try it?

Update: The third expansion is in final testing. Tom Lehmann says that we can expect it "sometime in the first half of 2024, with PI implemented on BGA a month or two prior to its release."
