How is location detected

I want to know how BGA interface detects location of players. My friend and I were sitting in the same place and tried to play a game using 2 different internet connections but were unable to play because same location error kept popping up. Previously I thought that location is dependent on IP addr...

any idea if these will be available on BGA in near future?

HI guys. Want to know if any of the following games will be available digitally on BGA in near future
1. AZUL
2. FIVE TRIBES
3. CENTURY SPICE ROAD.

They are quite enjoyable in their physical avatar. wish to play with global players too.
