Re: the algorithm of luck
Hello, Please note that, even though I'm the developer of the adaptation on BGA, I have not looked into the details of any game that is played. I can see 4 factors that could contribute to what you think: - How cards are distributed - Which players you are facing - BGA / PiratJack is against you - C...

Re: Points Summary after all 10 Cards
Hello, There is a summary being displayed, with the number of points that everyone has won. However, the details of the calculation is not explained (the summary doesn't display which cards gave you which points, for example). I have opened a bug report for this, I'll see if I can think of a good wa...

Re: New indicator on cards that will take others
Hello Jessie,
This is actually not new at all: it was there since the beginning, when I coded the game more than a year ago
Regards,
PiratJack

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
I'm afraid you're still missing the point PiratJack. Vogliovincere wasn't reporting a bug to you re the 9,2,7. He was explaining how the core rule of standard Scopa being that you can capture ANY combination of cards IF no single matching cards exists cannot be played in the current implementation ...

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
Hello, I think I understand what you want, and I already did it in the game. I tested it just now: - Variant is "Standard Scopa" - Napola variant is "Disabled" - Option "Allow only the lowest number of cards to be captured" is enabled - In my hand: Knight (9) of coin, K...

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
Hello, I'll try to explain differently, sorry if it's blunt: I already did what you want. If you disagree, please prove me that I'm wrong with a specific example. Those are the rules that I applied for the standard, no variant, Scopa game: - If there is a single card with the same value as the one y...

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
PiratJack, if you are referring to where Vogliovincere says, " if we have 7 2 1 6 on the table and you play 9, you can chose to take 6+2+1" Hi is not saying the above happened in a BGA game, he is saying this is how the game SHOULD work, but unfortunately doesn't because of the incorrect ...

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
Thanks for posting Jack! You may have missed the point Vogliovincere was trying to post in the above. He is referring to the fact that in ALL variants of Scopa (certainly all standard widespread variants) there should be NO opportunity to decide between capturing a 9 or a 7+2 when playing a 9. It i...

Re: 'allow only lowest number of cards to be captured' rule
Hello, I am the developer of the game that is on BGA. I almost never read through the forums - so if you have suggestions or see bugs, please use the bug system (because then, I get notified): https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1489 This being said, please keep in mind that: - There are many playe...

Re: Please update Rules Summary to note the no-Scopa-on-last-play rule
Hello,
While i did write the original rules, please feel free to correct / amend them if you think it's incomplete / unclear!
I developed the game and I know the rules that are applied, but it doesn't mean I explained them very clearly
Regards,
PiratJack
