Board Game Arena

I don't understand anything about this game. There's no tutorial, just a manual. I read it, but it doesn't really fit the game at all. So I guess I'll just have to wait and play other games first.

I need your help to determine whether this is a game bug in my case, or if I've overlooked something. My game ended in a draw, and I lost in the final scoring.
