Me too. Unplayably slow.I even lost some reputation points because I left the game when I thought I had resigned.

What's the point? It's like the internet equivalent of twiddling thumbs, why not just play a game instead to pass some time

We already have Western chess and Xiangqi ( Chinese chess) here. I would like to see an option for Janggi (Korean chess) There are very few places online to play it.
