round-fixed play

Could we please introduce a setting/option where people can play the game for a set number of rounds (1 or 3 or whatever)? With the points version, it's hard to predict how long game play will be. I got stuck playing this for like a half hour the other day, thanks.

new weird coin flip feature

Please consider getting rid of the new "coin flip" feature that was added last week to Reversi. It's unnecessary and is VERY distracting from gameplay. I just had a game abandoned because it was too hard to play with. You're trying to strategize your next move and there this thing is flipp...

Re: Plan card 69

I have once just by course of playing. Basically you lose 25 points for the errors then gain 3 for the plan.

Re: players quitting mid-game

Says who? It's horribly rude. In the US, we'd use the expression "sour grapes." Plus, you yourself have said "when loss is obvious." Players are quitting after they lose the first corner, when a single move doesn't go their way, etc. It's whiny and childlike. It always reminds me...

players quitting mid-game

Over the last month or so, I've noticed a sharp increase in players who are just up and quitting mid-game. These aren't people who run out of time or suddenly go offline — they'll lose the first corner or something and decide that means they're going to lose the game then just quit, usually by conce...

Re: Tie break rule

Should be the lowest number, as that's the option that requires the greatest skill.

But yes, a tie breaker is DEFINITELY needed.

Re: rematch - reverse roles

Appreciate your comment, but I’m not sure what it has to do with this thread. You may want to put it into a thread about that variant so it will be seen and responded to by folks who know about that, thanks.

Re: Showing Users Online "Near Me" in friends?

Same here for the first time tonight, also on my phone, connected to my Wi-Fi which is password-protected and does not reflect any additional user, Bluetooth on.

This is creepy as frick. Why should complete strangers know where I am? For European users, does this even meet GDPR regulations?

Re: rude communities/no longer play

Yeah, and technically Bang IS a team game. But I see ahyangyi's broader point. In Welcome To, for example, there is nothing you can do to interfere with the other player's game: You have to concentrate on your own. Another is Railroad Ink. But it's no fun to basically only stick to games you could s...

rude communities/no longer play

So I just had a negative experience in Kingdom Builder that has me not wanting to play the game with people I don't know again: just needlessly aggressive play, rudeness in chat, etc. It has me thinking of other games I've discovered on BGA & fallen in love with but don't really play anymore bec...
