Re: Get this AI slop off of BGA

We pay for subscriptions here, I don't enjoy seeing crappy AI spam across the front page of the website. Plenty of good games to find and adapt that aren't regurgitated junk like this. To clarify the process: the images were created by Guillaume Alarie, the game's author. He trained his own AI mode...

Re: CATATAↃ: Pawsome teamwork!

I will cancel my paid subscription if these GenAI slop games keep landing. I already did. Five pages of unanimous feedback and nothing but silence. They're just waiting to sweep this under the rug. You're right - I've just canceled mine as well, expires tomorrow. I'll renew when this game is removed.

Re: Chop Moves on BGA - Anyone interested?

I was told today that I am notorious on the forums for being rude. If you're interested in using chop moves come find out how rude I am! :geek:

Re: Physical vs. online hanabi

I've played in person ~100 times or so, with different groups who come from BGA or HG or neither. Sometimes I try to teach the simplest subset of the BGA conventions, sometimes we make up something new. My personal favorite game with some family we use chop focus for all clues, with saves for all cl...

Re: Removing conventions from the help page

This skip advice is really poor, I agree Malo. It's one of the hardest things to fix after someone gets the idea that "skip = play". It hamstrings the team from collaboratively managing discards, and it makes stall techniques harder (like double discard avoidance). Or, at the very least, &...

Re: how about this 3 clue

This is one of those things that varies between groups, but I would say BGA generally biases toward assuming playable clue versus longer finesse. HG is the opposite, as I understand it, you'd have to assume this could be either 3R or 3Y and delay/discard until that clarifies itself.

I don't know if this forum bumps threads to the top based on replies, but we've had some fun games with the crew so far. If anyone else is interested in joining, please check us out!

Re: What happened in this game?

Every time I watch a replay I'm reminded that some people don't use stacked view.

Pretty obvious they are cheating, no other way to interpret this.

Re: 2 player ELO level separation

Probably they should just get rid of ELO and show number of games played by table size / variant. Hanab.live does this and it makes a lot more sense.

@Blacktango: I get that this would break their model either way. Fortunately they have some programmers ;-)
