The usability of the new version is extremely poor. Hanabi is an abstract game and a spare lo-fi graphic implementation (like the old version on BGA) suited the game and it allowed players to focus on gameplay. Look at how other abstract games like chess (lilchess.org) and backgammon are implemented...

Every player plays at least one Age 4 turn. If the deck is exhausted at the beginning of the first player's turn, then this is the last round. I had the same experience with Safari. Innovation would always stall. Problem solved when I moved to the Brave browser.
