As someone who started he's journey with modern boardgames around 2006 and more or less ended following new releases around 2016 I don't know most of the games that are being released on BGA because I think they are mostly releasing newer games. So my general 'want' is for more of the classics/games...

In my opinion, whether a gaming community is toxic depends entirely on the platform or the publisher. They are the ones with the tools to remove toxic players, so if toxicity persists, it means the publisher simply doesn't have a problem with it. Take League of Legends as an example.
