There is no matchmaking. You are just paired against the next available player. And in a game with a limited user base this will regularly be high ranked ones.

And was last season 2 or 3 players? I remember two and there is no change of player count noted in the system message about the new season, just the activation of Coroporate Era.

I am confused. The ruleset now states 2 players with Corporate Era. I just started a game and it is a 3 Player game??? What went wrong?

I get that error everytime I try to directly go to a table from the table list. The yellow icon is still taking me to the next table and currently the only way to access my games that I can find.

Average is defined on BGA as 100-300 rating, so if you are above you are ineligible.
There is no one over 1000. No.1 is currently sitting at 889 (which is still insane btw.).
You are probably confusing Arena rating with the general ELO.

ElO is not designed to make us 'feel good'. It is designed to show skill level. New players win points not to get them hooked but because their rating does not yet reflect their skill level.
