Not that I’m aware of. In fact, while BGG’s poll lists 3-player as the best player count, 4-player is voted as the second best player count, with 5-player as the worst player count.

If wanting to mix things up, you could always change your preferred setting to 4-player only for a game or two.

Disabling your opponent sounds like a good way to secure a win. Certainly in a 2-player game they should beat you down as hard as possible. If there are 3-4 players then they should be trying to beat down their strongest competition to win rather than simply beating down the player in worst shape. K...

To my mind Caylus is a 3-4 player game. Would anyone else like to see Arena switch to a higher player count? I’d love to dabble in Arena mode for Caylus, but I don’t really enjoy playing the 2-player version.

Prestige buildings can only replace your own residential buildings. Perhaps you didn’t have any residential buildings on the board?

Is there any way that the user interface shows us the first player? When the end of the game is triggered, I never remember who was first player, so I never know if I have one or two turns left.
