From the rulebook, normal setup is to take 4 tokens and place them as you want on the diagonal (ascending order is just mentioned in a note as a piece of advice for beginners).

Here I only found fast setup and Michael setup, did I miss something?

Yes, you can win with just 5 cards, before playing turn 3.
I wrote a message on bgg to see if something could be adjusted.
