I have the physical version, and there are quite a few counters. Without digging them out, I would say maybe 8-10 of most ships.
So someone put a severe limitation on the ship counters for this bga version. I wonder why?

As far as I know, there are no limits other than physical chits available in this game.

Why are their artificial limits imposed for this online version? Hey - I could be wrong.

Thanks for pointing out that 'unknown' is an option. I'm not sure other places in the world are tied to regional flags, save Spain, like the state flags of that country you mentioned. I am just one guy with one opinion. Having options would be nice for all that want them. Flags are political. Maybe ...
