On page 2 of "rules supplement" it has the gameplay for the river. As Ez0ah said, it jsut breaks up the map, there is no point scoring from it.

The game tells you at the top right (by your name marker) how many tiles are left to be played. With some quick maths, you can work out roughly how many tiles each player has left. To the best of my knowledge, there is no on-site way of seeing this exact stat, since the game isn't open-hand. Hope th...
