Correct, you would lose. When the games over , it won't count your VPs. I tried this once. I had like 12 points and someone got to 10. I wanted to get more points and was curious to see what would happen lol

Id say play about 1000 games - and have above 70% in wins - Ive been playing for 2 years and Im fairly confident I can play the best of the best - its not all luck - def some tips and tricks to be taught.

actually the highest is 17 - Ive gotten 16 (in a real game, august 20th) but almost 17 3 cities, 1 town, largest army - 9 pts on your final turn, if someone has the longest road and you can break it (4. roads and no town) and build a town on it - it will give you 3 points (2 for road and 1 for town)...
