Re: question Training mode

It'll eventually time out. It's pretty much the only option.

I believe it defaults to 24 hours. Given all the private rooms/channels, this kind of has to be "a thing."

Re: Strange Premium subscription

Here we go again... this is nonsense. There's nothing on the premium page stating that a yearly membership will be automatically renewed at the end of a year. BGA Premium is a montly or yearly membership as you can see on the Premium page. Perhaps it's "monthly or yearly" but that doesn't ...

Re: Your opinion is needed: competitive mode and game variants

If you're good at the game, then you should be good at the game in all variants and with different number of players. Agreed. There are games in which I'm great 2 player, but suck at multiplayer, or the other way around. I would therefore say I am good at a specific "variant" of that game...

Re: Hah, joined to play top 1 ranked player and noticed "training mode"

Hey guys, why don't you just mind your own business ? Training mode is an option for the game maker. If you're not happy with, create your own table or join a tournament. When I play with my friends at home or with unknown people in a board game bar, there is no ELO. And we still have fun. Cheers, ...

Re: Moving to next table now intermediate window appears

Something to think about in terms of announcements, probably only a small percentage of people read the forums. Seems like if you want people to know about stuff, it ought to be right there in the news when people come on.

Re: Moving to next table now intermediate window appears

Just as an experiment, I tried loading a couple of games on my iPad (mini), just to compare with the smartphones. Carcassonne took forever to load images, like forever. So I stared at that box the whole time. That's the thing that would make me think something was wrong, not waiting for images insid...

This is inaccurate. When a game is interrupted due to the departure of a player, the result is a team of winners and one loser. This case concerns all games on BGA with more than 2 players.

Re: Moving to next table now intermediate window appears

If you are playing on a computer, with a very recent browser, a wired fast Internet connexion and if you play game with light graphics, there should be absolutely no problem of loading time. Now, if you try to load a Through the Ages game with +400 moves history from a slow 3G connexion on your 3 y...

Re: Is there a way to lower the racism that stops me from a 'chance' to win?

Refer to my first post on this thread: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9928&hilit=saywut I stand by the answer I gave you then. I watched a game where you claimed you were targeted the entire game, which was not true. So it's difficult to listen to you now because you ne...
