I do wish BGA have all the ways to cooldown instead of "there are many ways, but the common ways are being in first and second gear." I've always been confused why they just won't tell us the other ways.

When I play my first associate at level 5 to support a conservation project, it uses 1 associate. After a turn or two, I'll use the associate card at level 5 again to support a conservation project, and it uses 2 associates. I've tried looking up in the rulebook why this happens, but I can't find it...
