Re: Who programmed the dice?

It’s not good business practice to force customers to do what developers should be doing. I think you should give some serious thought to roles and responsibilities. You’ll just end up losing customers. BGA has statistical data, and using it to improve quality is standard practice. Besides, if five ...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

>I find it interesting that those who do play a lot of catan and think the game is unfair, do NOT analyze and and run statistics to prove their point. BGA is the one that holds the statistical data, so it makes no sense to ask players to provide it. It is nonsensical to ask players—who are customers...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

Coleus1 is right.
It’s either a hack or someone is doing it on purpose.

Re: Who programmed the dice?

It is ludicrous to state to a disgruntled player that he or she has faith in probability or in the BGA. It is wrong from a mathematical, computer science, and business standpoint. As I have said many times, the BGA should do what every developer does. Just improve the quality of the game, constantly...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

I just want to get away, that's the attitude of the people here, I'm really fed up. Everything is illogical and fraudulent. Many people are frustrated with the BGA's random number process. Despite this, they are trying to push it through using only the paradox of probability. Please prove first that...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

I am so disappointed that they are only thinking of running away when they have been pointed out the problem so many times by players. How can you claim that there is no problem when the PHP developers and those who study computer science are constantly updating it? Have you proven that you are bett...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

The problems with the Mersenne Twister algorithm are acknowledged by PHP library developers. Experts in the field of random number algorithms have also admitted this. Furthermore, there are a number of new random number algorithms being developed. Not knowing this implies a lack of knowledge. It is ...

Re: Who programmed the dice?

Re: Who programmed the dice?

There seems to be some misunderstanding, but my point is that the BGA is running away with the word statistics and has no desire to do any programming.
If they had time to make excuses, they could improve.

Re: Who programmed the dice?

Historically speaking, the random handling of PHP, a development language, has been problematic and debated for a long time. So, there is always a need to examine random number programs. Despite the fact that it is the domain of computer science, we continue to take only the convenient parts of stat...
