Board Game Arena

There's no way anyone prefers it, they have to be at best neutral. Do they think people are going into arena games hoping someone leaves so they can scrape out another few arena points?

You can go from a surefire +10 win to -8 because someone who's left 50 games recently gets frustrated.

Totally agree with an option to turn off chat. I'd never use it, but more controls about chat in general would be nice.

I think it gets more complicated when it's in a game, but if you're direct messaging a friend the warning really shouldn't pop up for saying "that was dumb of me" or "what the hell was that"

Especially since some of the words that are filtered are sort of silly like "snatch"

In the games history right now, there's a checkbox for "Finished games only," and I think it makes sense to have one for "Arena" games as well.

There are a lot of old, inactive accounts with common names (my friend just tried to sign up-- the first three names she tried were taken, 2 by players who hadn't been on in more than 3 years). Would it be possible for some of the older names to be purged?

A cool feature that I really like on chess.com is that you can see the highest rated opponent that you've beaten. If you have a crazy upset against someone much higher rated, it could be nice to have a specific memory/record to preserve it. It could just be right underneath each game-- for instance:...
