Re: How does the School Randomizer work?

The play rates for Imperial are just about double those of Sylvan and Highland, so I suspect they're twice as likely to come up in the randomizer -- otherwise even a small fraction of players using the randomizer would bring Imperial's numbers closer to the other basic factions.

Re: Santorini in Alpha now

Stats bug: On table #96094717, the stats say neither power was used, but both (Atlas and Prometheus) were used several times.

Re: Tournaments FAQ

In Swiss system tournaments I almost always seem to get teamed up vs an opponent with the exact same amount of games won in that tournament up to that point. Coincidence, or is that how the system is supposed to work? That is the beauty and the pain of Swiss pairing! At each stage, you should face ...

Re: Is email notification a premium feature?

Thanks for the fast reply! I'd already checked my spam folder, but I'll look into other reasons on my side that the emails might not arrive.

Is email notification a premium feature?

I was away from the site for several months and now I'm finding I don't receive email when it's my turn in a turn-based game. Has this become a premium-only feature or otherwise restricted? Was it always premium-only and I've just forgotten? My preferences still say to email me, for what that's worth.

Re: Be still my beating heart.....

I have some doubts. The article says it has "perspective-based mechanics vaguely akin to those of Tash-Kalar", and the BGG page for the game says... "they score for rows of flowers only at the end of the game and only for the rows of flowers that exist from their perspective, i.e., th...

Re: Deathmatch for 2 Player

I'm not great at 2p Deathmatch, but I realized at some point that I was tending to shy away from flaring too much because I wanted it to Be Worth It, i.e. to gain me MORE points than it cost me. When in reality, given the choice between playing a flare and getting 2 points, or not playing it and get...

Re: Summer game?

I was hoping for Isle Of Skye, but if those barrels hold a madeira wine in them then that must be it. :)

How do I change display style?

For a long time, when I played Tash-Kalar, past moves were shown in a column on the right-hand side of the screen, and I could replay the game from any point by clicking on a particular move. Now, the log of past moves is in a pop-up window at the bottom of the screen, and clicking on a move doesn't...

Re: Tournaments FAQ

Yes, it looks there is a bug with turn based tournaments at now. From the original announcement I didn't realize turn-based tournaments were possible at all-- thank you very much for working on it! I look forward to being able to create them. (Or is it already possible, and the bug only affects som...
