Re: So many ties

I recommend playing games of BtC with the "Competitive Game" setting.

Re: Was this user error?

Ooh that’s rough luck. BGA doesn’t have as much undo or action confirmation features as some people would like. In Mr. Jack you definitely have to be careful where you click/tap once you’ve selected any character.

Yes! Go see if there is already a suggestion for this in the bugs/requests. Vote it up if it’s already there, or create a new one. And then come back here and share the link. Please and thank you 😊

Re: Redundancy elimination

A skill jump in your deductions when you see these two criteria together: (Anybody know how to do spoiler tags? It would appear these forums don’t support them. Sorry, I tried.) [spoiler]C guarantees that one color is lowest. The presence of B solves C without needing to check. This is because if ei...

Re: Guessing After Opponent Is Incorrect?

Have you tried solo? I don’t really understand the point of multiplayer for this game anyway. It feels tacked-on, or “just there because”. But if you want to play with friends, you could get new problems from the official site, share the game ID, each play a solo game on BGA, and compare your results.

Re: Broken, Bug, or Exploited Vulnerability?

You watch that video yet, OP? That’s the level that some people are playing at, which may or may not be for you. Solo play and the daily challenges are still great.

According to the bgg thread above there are even a few zero check problems in the rulebook—problem 9 for example.

Re: Broken, Bug, or Exploited Vulnerability?

0 checks is sometimes possible. I wouldn’t just assume people are cheating. https://youtu.be/g0TuzZws2lM If it’s easy difficulty, I commonly solve in 1-3 checks. I don’t play easy or normal anymore lol. This is an odd game for multiplayer. I would just play solo. It would be nice if they implement t...

Re: Break The Code 2P Strategy

Absolutely. I virtually always go for those questions. (runner-up last season; overtaken by real-time player at the end lol) If possible, never let them get 2 out of the 3 questions (black sum, white sum, color neighbors). Also, knowing a color sum together with total sum has guaranteed me the win n...

The penalty for not guessing is pretty high though …
