Stone Age Rules

Hello, i want to ask on Stone Age rules in real game. I saw people online here put his 2 figures on 2 buildings or 2 civilization cards. Can anyone do this option in real game,or is this online changed rule? As i know in real game, i can put only one figure on one card and one figure on one building...
