When does the poll close? I see nordic is already an option along with India and Switzerland. But I was still able to vote...

Re: A New Logo for Board Game Arena

Is there meant to be a set order of colours on the small logo? Sometimes yellow is on top (in my game tables), sometimes it’s in the middle (on this forum page). Blue is sometimes on bottom (and a lighter shade during page loading), sometimes it’s the only colour (also during page loading), and some...

Also - and this is crucial - he doesn't occupy 100% of my brain. Anyone who can't separate whatever nonsense is making headlines from a gaming site needs to unplug and take a walk in the fresh air. Ummmm BGA WAS my unplugging/fresh air. You say that and yet somehow he DOES occupy even this safe spa...

Re: Algorithms

"real cribbage" is only as good as the shuffling, which can be bad, good, or a little *too* good ;) . Humans tend to notice anomalies and coincidences, while mundane things go unnoticed. This skews our perception. Probability and statistics are fascinating. Try recording every outcome of a...

Re: Implementation feedback

I agree whole-heartedly with point #3. It seems unnecessarily large. If it's going to be that big it may as well be a 29 like my wooden board at home. For point #2, I assume you mean after a GO,? I ask because the 1st card of a run or 3 of a kind needs to be visible while you're playing. I would add...

Re: Add option to slow down scoring?

This is a cool idea. I personally prefer counting manually, which I'm sure your father would also enjoy if he's been playing for years. But until they implement that, slowing it down would be a great option. It's currently lightning fast and I miss the detail! I also wouldn't mind muggins options.

Re: Auto count

Or even add the Muggins rule, so your opponent has a chance to steal the points you miss! I'm not personally a fan of it, but I think it would add to the options for the game at least! I agree! I love counting, and muggins is fun (especially in real-time). It's actually the absolute best idea I've ...
