I like them a lot both for the interesting new puzzles they all add and the species they chose. Axolotls, tigers, giant pandas and chameleons are very popular animals. Easy to find mini animal figurines for them.

Harmonies crescendo has been announced this new expansion does not seem to add new animals but new placement rules.

For example one such card pictures a windmill in a field and a clay token on top of a wood token on top of a wood token on top of a yellow field token.

The 9th animal has been confirmed it’s an axolotl!

Or instead of removing them, make it so they only score 3 points for each deer. And change the scoring so that each deer scores 2 points for each of their corresponding icons. I’ve seen some of the new cards and 2 of them require a house next to a level 1 mountain. So they won’t be a unused tile combination for long.

I just lost. And I was first player in a 2 player game. So first player does not always win.
