In terms of computer technology: stations require "multiple inheritance", else "there can be just single inheritance" is the rule. There are programming languages which allow MI, but most don't allow this. What if the game mechanics is ither built on the game progamming language...

My favourites are Pennsylvania and Germany for introducing the stocks/passengers mechanics, which incentivize players to build quickly instead of stocking cards. Especially on higher number of players it makes for really interesting clashes of styles, would also be cool to have a map with a 4 or 5 p...

You pretty much need to know the 6 big tickets and have a general idea of the 2-3 "good" ways to connect them(mainly 4 and 3 paths, avoiding tunnels and ferries). Learning the other tickets by heart comes naturally when you play a lot, but there are very rarely situations where blocking a ...

I fully disagree with your opinion. The game might feel thrilling with a million tickets, but that doesn't mean it's harder. What skill does it take to draw tickets and hope you get some you've already done and your opponent not? More tickets introduce more randomness and therefore a much bigger pot...
