i agree, it feels like cheating to use those extra benefits of things you should be able to do “once per round”, especially the “move your rover if you select a civ tile” one, while it’s not tile selection moment…

I think this is generally true except in the endgame when you have to look at what tiles and spirits are left to calculate what your best chance at winning is.

It's unfortunately not possible to only five more time in the endgame though.
