I made some small changes to the CSS that fix a minor visual image (Africa getting cutoff slightly at the bottom) and make the card look a bit closer to the original asset. Images and CSS updated in post 0.

Silverlake is great for any strategy, plus you never have to worry about rock/water. On top of that there are 2x cards that if you get either (archaeologist or hydrologist), you basically win the game, no other map has that.

Playing with the alternate maps mitigates these wild imbalances.

In a similar vein, if you build over the observation tower on map 1/1a, the restaurant on map 5/5a, or the gates on map 2/2a, you no longer gain the benefits they provide.

Some day my "no animals, only sponsors" strategy will pan out. If everything goes just right, you can cross in just 50 or 60 turns. Edit: I did some math, and if you play on Observation Tower, lean into research icons, and follow up with rock or water icons, you can cross in under 40 turns...

+1 to this. The new diversity icons are a garbage fire. Even on a laptop screen I have to zoom in to figure out which is which.
