Board Game Arena

I’ve noticed very long spans of games where I’m assigned first player. Never counted, but seemingly 6-8 times in a row. Should be a coin flip, so I’d say if you have gone more than that, something’s up. It might be selecting you by default which is a bug imo.

Something is messed up this season. It’s often taking me hours to match with anyone and my first four games have been with the same opponent. I think the 12-hour timer from 9am to 11pm is limiting opponent selection. Can that be changed? Feels like this season will be dead if it isn’t.

My only issue with ELO scoring has been in 3-4 player games. Due to the natural increase in luck factor, not to mention how players tend to cooperate against the leader in any given game, there should be extra credit for beating 2-3 opponents or a lesser loss in ELO for losing to 2-3 opponents.
