When in-game, click on Menu on the top right of the screen (3 lines), then under Preferences -> Edition -> pick Original (2016)

I had not played Kingdomino for a while but when I saw all the rage comments about the new design I just HAD to go see for myself... and honestly, it's not so bad :?: :?: Sure the look is different, the colours are more saturated - the style reminds me a bit of retro pixel games actually, à la Mario...
