Yes, my playgroup discovered this today. We hadn't been expecting it and so rushed to try it out. It's still Beta but seemed quite solid to me. Well done, developers! Though I'm puzzled that they haven't done Venus first. It makes the floater cards seem lonely. And have the cards with Venus effects...

If u really want to reduce the variance, then just play without preludes. I think its the first way to do. Otherwise it would be chill, when the cards itself could be balanced. In a digital version of the game, this could be easy implementated.
