I don't find it unpleasant. If my face-to-face opponent is undecided and asks to take back their move for whatever reason, if they haven't finished then I'll let them. But in payment, I get to see what they were thinking. Same thing here.

A friend and I play turn-based, friendly (no time limit) games. We don't use in-game messaging, so the "I'm ready" synchronisation doesn't serve a useful purpose for us, and only slows the game down significantly. It's roughly equivalent to adding an extra die per round.

I'm a backer of Ultimate (I guess you might need to trust me on that...?) but a new BGA user ... may I also have an invite? Merci beaucoup!
