Board Game Arena

I much preferred arena being 3 player. The game feels at its most controllable and strategic at 3 player in my opinion. Anyone know why it's been changed and is it just for this season or permanent?

In the rulebook this is explained. In a 2 player game the winner of a military battle is award 6 points if they have double the amount of shields (or more) than their oppomy, otherwise it is just 3

Hmm I think in that situation I would do the play that gave me the most points up front, but also maybe something that drew cards as well like a beech marten or an owl so I could cycle my hand...maybe even play something with an extra turn if possible before that?
