What are the best sponsor cards that you will always keep/take and upgrade sponsor immediately so you can play them as early as possible?

I was referring to the last option you mentioned, thank you for the reply. It would be nice if you could see a list of event cards that were played, but going though the log works as well.

To determine what I strategy I should take concerning what "impact" cards where played.

I pass it pretty often in mid game, but is getting 4 coins and discarding two grey cattle (while skipping the hazard) a strong action?

Has anyone else not gotten the option to convert 1 reed into 2 food using Basketmaker's wife. It says "At any time, you can convert 1 reed into 2 food", but I haven't seen the option to do that. I can report it as a bug.
