Board Game Arena

I played with a player who always had zero workers and zero coins on his board, but he made plays in which he used these resources. How is this possible? Can we hide our resources?

last night i tried to play Carcasonne and I can't see the tiles on the board and my hand tiles. I can see the shadow where I can put my tile but anything else.
what can be the problem?
