I could’ve sworn I read that number of keys is the tie breaker but same happened to me. I lost but had more keys. Pretty sure the comment about keys is on the rules on this game on bga.

I thought in the rules on here the number of keys was the tie breaker. I still was declared the loser despite having more keys

To my experience, the first player has an enormous advantage to win the game. I also checked the last 10 games of the number 1 player here on BGA, and in each of them the first player won - no matter how much Elo they have.
