But you are right about the symmetry. You could say that the positions are created symmetrically, so practically, i.e. from a game point of view, it is still divided by 4.
Can't we at least make a rough calculation that cca ~50 moves is 100%?
Anything above 50 moves will also be 100%. It won't be exact, but it might be more accurate than having 50% everywhere
