noticed that the winrate is pretty ridiculously high for whoever starts with this tech, wondering if just leaving it out of the starting tech choices might balance the game a bit better

first round player next to me just hammers me with bangs and there's nothing I can do about it they drew through half the deck because apparently that's what that character can do just keep drawing cards when their hands empty. That's not fun or challenging just a very poorly designed game.

won 7/10 rounds with a guy but two of those rounds he was able to dump his entire hand in 2 turns to hit me for a ton of points on those 2 turns. Felt like the game just handed him the win.

nah, the guess mechanic makes the games go nice and quick and the penalty of -1 card next round is nothing to scoff at. Makes some of the multi-portal techs pretty useful (especially the all 4 types since it's no longer a guess)

best is probably the one that lets you draw 5 cards and trash them since it's the only card in the game that lets you trash and it lets you draw to boot and for some reason is only a basic tech.

game got ruined turn one by the host announcing there's a decoy despite the extra role supposed to be hidden. Was not enjoyable.

we can literally see everything that's played all you need is a decent memory and you know what is where.

because you retain the extra card from holding leader and you draw back up when you gain leader it seems that optimally if you aren't trying to merely counter your opponent you let them have it for a turn then take it back the next
