Board Game Arena

I just played two-player Euchre for the first time. Twice when I was not dealer we both passed and I was given a choice of two remaining suits for trump rather than all three (that weren't the suit of the turn-up card). Is there a rule about this, or is there a bug? I couldn't find it online. Thanks!

I wish the game would tell you how many stars you get to place rather than saying "You must place your star(s)".
