I don't think there is much you can do to speed up the process apart from going premium. Unfortunately one of the players at the table must always have premium, so if there are many non-premium users in queue the process gets slower. I've been waiting over 15 minutes just to play an arena match, and it's getting old. Playing a simple game doesn't match any faster.
