It seems like this group is torn between both modes. Perhaps the solution is to flip between 2 player and 3 player after each season. That way you at least get the mode you like some of the time.

My guess is that there will not be expansions because another paid version already exists (each expansion is additional $$). After reading through the supplied threads and hearing your feedback, I understand the decisions this community chose for arena. I would still like to be able to create a tournament with more options but it is what it is. Thanks for your feedback everyone!

I just checked the tournament setting and there is no way to delay having the powerful birds being played in the options (it’s either all in or remove all). Perhaps that could be an ask for the developer. Thanks for interacting with this post.
