The problem is not having non-deterministic dice on BGA Catan. I've played on sites that have such a setting, and it is not fun. The randomness is fun. The problem is that here, you can often tell who the winning player is going to be based on the first few rolls, regardless of settlement placement....

This issue is hard to moderate, but when a player openly admits in chat that they plan to favor another player due to a grudge and follows through with irrational trades and unfair robber targeting, that is kingmaking in my view.

First pick so far has been very OP. Also, friendly robber is unfair if it isn't also considering amount of development card one is buying or using.

You are not the first one telling weird things about development card stack, so I will try to be more careful than usual. But please, get some data. Decide in your future games to count the number of times what you think did happen, and count the number of times where what you think did not happen....

Maybe your settings are set to "No automatic dice rolling".
